Intro

You’re Melvin, a misunderstood alien trying to find his fit in the universe. This fast-paced arcade space shoot em up takes on a unique perspective as Melvin has to avoid the harmless Earthlings and diffuse tense military situations without an alarming kill count that would surely send the media swarms into a tizzy.

Story

Melvin’s just an average alien looking for his place in the universe.

What Melvin lacks in self-esteem, he makes up for in Jeopardy skills. Unlike his peers, Melvin is considered less than popular in his alien cohort, and is just fed up with the goons he’s interacting with. As a big fan of reality TV, Melvin’s been amazed at what he’s seen on Earth, and how Earthlings are so incredibly accepting of everything.

Melvin wants this more than anything. He wants a new home where he can live comfortably without being bullied on a daily basis.

Humanity does not understand the precious balance of the universe. Despite the success of so many obnoxious reality television shows, they’re just not accepting enough of the unknown to accept Melvin.

The last straw comes from Melvin’s complete dissatisfaction with the universal housing market, and he sets sale for Earth. He’s had enough – the rest of the universe is saturated with inflated, overpopulated planets and intergalactic slum lords who do not treat their respective properties with care.

Good luck, Melvin! Knock ‘em dead!

FAQ

Q: How far into development is this game? When will it be released?

A: The hearts above indicate how far along from development a game is. With five hearts, each heart represents 20%, and a half heart represents 10%.

Q: What happens when I buy a reserved copy?

A: You’ll be added to the email list for that game and become an integral part of how that game is built out. Updates are sent monthly for games in development showing art, gameplay builds, and storyline material for YOU, our community, to contribute to.

Q: I don’t like pre-orders.

A: That’s okay too! Subscribe to our email newsletter, a separate email entirely, and we’ll only message you when new games are up and available for sale.

Q: I’ve done this before...and the game still hasn’t come out. What the heck?

A: Mega Cat Studios will never, ever have a game posted here go beyond a year in development. In most cases, they’re less than six months. Rest assured that we aren’t going anywhere, and will deliver.

Q: I want to purchase this for a gift, but, I don’t want to hand this special person an email receipt.

A: We can mail custom gift cards for no additional charge. Details matter, and presentation is something we take great pride in.
