BackyardSports.Online Community Charity Stream Raises Over $5,000 for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital!

The community hit a major milestone, raising $5,737.13 for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital during the charity streaming event! Partnered with BackyardSports.Online and Crowd Control, this campaign exceeded expectations, bringing gamers and streamers together to make a difference in the fight against childhood cancer.

Kicking off on October 13th, the event celebrated the release of Backyard Baseball ’97 on Steam, with fans enjoying nostalgic gameplay, engaging with their favorite streamers, and participating in fun giveaways—all while supporting a great cause. With a lineup of streaming stars like former MLB player Jeff Frye, gaming creators Poofesure and Skwidlegs, and more, the event was packed with excitement.

Originally setting a goal of $1,997, the community far surpassed this, raising over $4,000 in just one night and continuing to raise funds throughout the week.
