Weekly Dose of Gaming News - Chex Quest is Back!
'90s kids, get ready for some serious cereal nostalgia, Chex Quest is back!
That's right the family-friendly first-person shooter you found free in a box of Chex Mix that somehow against all odds was awesome is back, and it's also available for free! But this time not in a cereal box, on Steam, since its released back in 1996, its maintained quite the following.
So much so that volunteers have spent the last 20 years working on an updated version of the game. This inspired text mix to reach out to one of the original creators to finish it, and make the updated game a reality titled Chex Quest HD.
One of the more exciting features about the new text quest is that it's multiplayer both locally and online through Steam. This also led to the coolest video ever from Wooden Leg Studios of them creating a full-sized wearable Flemoid all to the original music of Chex Quest.
