At Mega Cat, we value the expertise and opinions of our gaming community.
We’ve been working with community folks for years and decided to formalize
and evangelize our most engaged and vocal fans. 


By joining our playtester program, you’ll gain the power to influence the way our games develop. Testers get their hands on all of our projects, including the unannounced titles.


Aside from free games, every year, we give out free merch.
Occasionally we include toys for your cat, all for sharing your opinions.

WHAT PLAYTESTERS ARE PLAYING NOW

How does playtesting work?

Playtesters get early access to almost all of our games. Every month, if not week, we’ll post information about how to play. Most tests run for a bit over a week each. Players can leave their feedback on an online form, earning rewards for doing so! Sometimes, the rewards are cat pictures. (sorry?)

What requirements do I need to be to playtester?

Be 18 of age or older. Have a love for video games. Be kind to animals, and one another. Own, or have access to, a PC that can play relatively recent games.

What platforms will you use for tests, can I use my Xbox?

We test on PC only via Steam for modern games, and ROMs for cartridges.

Do I need to be a frequent game player to join?

Not at all! Sign up, check back, and we’ll be here making new things.

Do I need to sign anything?

Yes, we have a Non Disclosure Agreement (NDA) form that you will need to agree to. After completing the form, you will receive a confirmation email. The purpose of the NDA is to make sure you agree not to divulge information about our games before we’re ready to do so.

What information do you hold, will you sell it?

We do not divulge any information about our playtesters to anyone outside of the company. The exception to this are individual game developer partners, who may get limited info if you test their game. The info we hold is as follows:

• Discord Tag
• Date of Birth
