Get your NES ready, Knights of Bytes has a new game for a classic system on the way.

We’re not involved in the project in any way, but we love seeing such a passionate community staying active and supporting games like this!

Knights of Bytes ' Sam's Journey’ is a fast-paced platformer first released for the Commodore64 back in 2017. With its adorable hero Sam, exciting music, and great gameplay, it was a real hit, selling 1250 copies in the first three months.

We’re excited to see that according to indieretronews.com Sam’s Journey will now be available for the NES as well! Developers are hard at work on the game, and have released three teaser trailers so far, saying “A new NES game is in the making! It's about a cute little hero called Sam who finds himself on an unexpected journey in a strange world.”

They go on to tease a fierce pirate Sam, a sneaky ninja Sam, and Sam battling his way through a fiery castle.
