Weekly Dose of Gaming News - Super Mario World Inspired Map

The creator of this nostalgic and detailed map periodic lunchbox posted the map saying "Well, it's finally done. My map of Europe, inspired by Super Mario World! It took a couple of months, had to take some breaks because some of the work was incredibly tedious. I'm really happy with the results. After making a map of Iceland and The Netherlands I couldn't decide which country I wanted to do next, so I did them all."

 

It looks like a massive undertaking, and they said that while they don't know exactly how long it took, about a hundred hours went into creating it. There is even a time lapse video of the entire process. We weren't the only ones impressed with the pixelated map, user offensive_noises commented saying "Impressive! So detailed. You should get this printed, cause I surely think people want to hang this in their room." Yes, we are those people. Another user darwinpatrick said "This is mesmerizing! Incredible work. I agree with the other commenter; people would 100% buy this."
